Past experiences define future success

If you are looking for success then you should consider your past experiences as a guide for reaching success. While your past may not always define what you will do in the future because there is a capacity for change, it does indicate key trends that you may continue or need to change.

The things you want to keep doing are habits that allow you to be successful. Maybe you used to have a daily routine that you have fallen out of. It may be require you to do self reflection to determine why did you stop doing those activities. You should also consider what are you strengths. Typically we are already implementing activities we are good at. There are things we can learn from them especially if we are examining strengths that we didn’t naturally have. Most of the time the ability to transition habits and their key elements are what allow people to have continuous success. However, continuing a useful behavior can also mean putting into place the right resources and processes to allow yourself to have continous success. For example, if you make a major change in your life such as moving to a new state, you are going to have to completely re-build certain routines. The act of rebuilding doesn’t mean something is wrong, it simply means that are our contextual situation has changed and that we have to adjust to find success again.
