Where should you find motivation?

With the start of a new year and the closing of another, we are often reminded of the goals we want to achieve or failed to achieve. Some of the time we don’t reach our goal due to circumstances, but more often than not it tends to be related to motivation. So lets look at 3 of the most common sources of motivation to examine the influence they can have for your success or transformation.

  1. Relationships

Relationships can be one of the biggest drivers of personal growth. Most of the time the catalyst for this is when a person is nearing the end of the relationship due to fighting or conflicts. Other times it can be when there needs to be a major change. Most of these changes are because someone wants to stay in the relationship. In these instances, someone is trying to change for someone else. Many times these can go either ways in terms of outcome. Generally this only works if someone truly wants to do better, but there are still pitfalls that can occur. The struggles most people find in this is that these changes are life long changes that you are trying to make to better yourself, so naturally these are going to be harder to undo behaviors that you have been doing for a long time.
